I am a serious and demanding producer as well as a passionate game/narrative design student who has experience on both Unity & Unreal Engine 4
Here is a bit about me and my work. Feel free to contact me.
In Saint-Étienne born and raised, I did not take a liking for soccer but rather for general culture, history and fiction. You could say I have a fiction addiction, the bigger and deeper a story or a universe the better for me. It is this liking for fiction that drove me towards video games, for the way it manages to provide good fiction trough so many ways, senses, arts. It was during highschool that I decided to work in the video game industry. I was and am interested in the jobs that are at the centre of the production of video games like creative director, game designer or producer. I am interested in those jobs because of the fact that it requires to communicate or directly work with almost all the fields involved in the development of a game. Since highshool, I have studied computer science in a formation wich strongly emphasised on game engines development. I have studied game/level design in two different schools. And I did all my studies while improving my producing by taking the lead of almost all the projects I have been a part of. Outside of work I used to play table tennis at a competitive level until my studies stopped allowing me to, I would really like to get back to it. And apart from being a video game player, I am a tabletop RPG player and game master on games like D&D, Deadlands, or on my own tabletop RPG. I love fictional universes like that of Warhammer 40k and the Elder Scrolls. I listen to all kinds of music and like to go to flea-markets.
As of right now, I am looking for my first job and start my career in the video game industry, full of hope and passion. As a producer, I focus on using my interpersonal skills to build trust and cohesion in a team and create and improve processes that provide a better workflow for the project. As a designer, I am more of the analytical type, as such I tend to question and critique the work of my fellow designers as much as I want them to critique and question mine. I find this to be the best way to create quality content for any project. I am still learning as Narrative Design but as a producer, I am starting to think that at that point I need mainly more and always more experience preferably professional experience. I am sure that with that professional experience I will become a good asset to our industry and my future employers. As an individual, I'm relatively self-confident, you’ll find me curious, funny(or not it depends) and naturally passionate. I’m always questioning my colleges on their work, not to criticise it but more to better understand and learn from them. I have the dream of creating my own studio but I would like to get more experience before that.
Now that I have finished my degree I am looking for a job mainly as a producer since it is what I am best at I think. I am right now waiting for the COVID-19 restrictions to be lifted so that I can pass a couple of certifications like the TOEFL and the Professional Scrum Master 1 Certification.
It is during highschool that I decided to oriente myself in the developpement of video games and thus choose a scientific diploma since it was one of the possible path to achieve my goals.
During this formation I was able to create my first games and those project gave me the confidence boost I needed to fully insvest myself in video game development.
I had the chance to study one semester at UQAC. That experience open my mind to the possibility to work oversees. The people there are as nice as the rumor says expect for my landlord there. I continued to study Object Oriented Programming there
At Gamagora Istudied and worked hard to increase my knowledge and experience in game/level design, story telling, team work and management. In huge part thanks to our project, Koda, presented at the Gamagora Game Show.
At E-Artsup I continued my studies of game and level design, but I more importantly focused myself on improving my producing skills and
During my intership I was asked to realize a marketing study on game engines. My next task was to create interfaces between SCANeR Studio (Oktal Paris' main prodcut), and the game engines Unity and CryEngine. After I had to to realize a prototype of the rendering in Unity 3D of an automobile simulation calculated in SCANeR Studio.
This is the first game I ever developed. This project was developed during my years studying computer science by a team of 4 people in 2 weeks. I took part as the game designer and as a developer. The objective was to create a little addicitve mobile game with Unity2D using a smartphone's gyroscope.
This game was realized at Gamagora for 4 months, by a group of 7 game/level designers, 7 developers, 2 composers and 1 artist (she rocks). I took part in this project as a producer, the lead scenarist, playtest redactor and game and level designer. It is probably the most professional looking game I have worked on so far. Altough flawed this japanses themed platformer/adventure game is good enough that some peolpe tried to stole and sell it as their own x). Check the itchio page by clicking on the link.
Here is a compilation documents I wrote while preparing playtests sessions of Koda: Kiyomori's Guardian with children around the age of 7 for. Those documents were made with no prior understanding of what playtests or focus group are but I think it is not bad for a first time. Download the archive by clicking the link.
Here you can find some producing documents created as a part of my work as a producer on a variety of different project. I hope you will see my progression as a producer throughout my student years. There are screenshots of Trello boards, an Office Project file, a Gantt Project file, some meetings reports and other documents. Download the complete archive by clicking on the link.
As part of my studies at E-Artsup Lyon, I was invited to give an agile project management lesson to my fellow game design students. My lesson was for those that who do not intend to pursue a career in producing but have to at least understand their producer when talking to them. While at Gamagora, I was really enthusiastic about the lessons on Narration. Here are is an narration exercice where we had to create a background for a place only based on a name. We also had to write the introductery scene for said place :"Le Pensionnat des Repentis" ("The Repentents' boarding house" in english). Download the documents by clicking on the link.
This work was done as part of a narration lesson at Gamagora. Here are is an narration exercice where we had to create a background for a character only based on a name.
